Vaarahi production house had been churning out new concepts and youthful films these days. Following this pattern, another love story ‘Rendu Rellu Aaru’ got released from them. Let us see how the film fared.

Story

Due to unavoidable circumstances, two men Raju (Naresh) and Rao (Ravi Kale) exchange their newly born kids in the hospital but decide to stay in the same colony with their families.

The conflict arises when kids Maddy (Anil) and Maggie (Mahima) grow up and love blossoms between them. The rest of the story is all about what do both the fathers do? What made them to exchange their kids?

Performances:

The major strength of the film is its story which is simple yet refreshing. The way director handled this film and made a complete family entertainer is good. Experienced actors Naresh and Ravi Kale were apt and had done complete justice to their roles.

Anil performed well and looks good onscreen. Heroine Mahima is adorable and impresses with her act. What comes as a surprise is Thagubothu Ramesh as he tickles your funny bones everytime he appears onscreen. He showed difference from his usual acting and performed supremely.

Technical:

Cinematography is very good and Amarnath Reddy captured the visuals of Godavari locations amazingly. Editing is decent and music by Vijay Bulganin is fine. Production values are good for a small budget flick and Sai Korrapati’s backing helped in getting this film a larger reach.

Director Nandu impresses with his story and handled the entertainment part very well. Had he taken more care on the narration and bring in more depth through emotions, the film would have been more interesting. His dialogues are amazing as well as meaningful.

Analysis:

‘Rendu Rellu Aaru’ is a fun filled family flick with good dose of entertainment. Simple yet interesting story and Thagubothu Ramesh’s comedy stand as the positives in this film while lack of proper emotions and slow narration turned out to be its flaws.

The film is filled with entertainment but logic goes missing in few scenes. Also, the romantic track was not dealt properly and should have been more interesting. The ending of the film looked a bit hurried.

Though the second half has a lot of fun filled moments, it looked a bit over stretched. The narration gives you the feel of a roller coaster ride with constant highs and lows.

This film manages to be a decent watch this weekend despite its glitches.
