TDP Offered "Rs 20 Crore" To YSR Congress MLA?

YSR Congress Party MLA from Rampachodavaram Assembly Constituency V Rajeswari joined ruling TDP in the presence of AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.

In a bid to demoralize YSR Congress Party ahead of YS Jagan’s Padayatra, Chandrababu resumed poaching of Opposition Party MLAs. Earlier, Rajeswari alleged that TDP offered her Rs 20 Crore for her joining the ruling party but she denied. With the mounting pressure from TDP, she switched loyalties to ruling party.

Leaders said TDP lured the YSR Congress MLA with money and political posts. In fact, YSR Congress already came to a conclusion that Rajeswari was performing below average and hunted she will not be given party ticket in next elections.

While TDP leaders said Rajeswari joined TDP will be no use to Telugu Desam as she lost people’s confidence in her constituency.
