Police Case registered on 'Brand Babu' makers

Director Maruthi who is well-known for his super hit rom-coms Bhale Bhale Magadivoy, Prema Katha Chitram etc penned the script for ‘Brand Babu’ movie which is directed by P.Prabhakar.

Shailendra who has done a bunch of Kannada movies did his Tollywood debut with this film. Eesha Rebba played the female lead. The movie hit the screens yesterday on August 3rd. A woman journalist filed a case on the makers in Banjara Hills Police Station.

She stated that they used her photo in a death scene in the movie without her consent. The Banjara Hills Police filed a case under IPC section 509 on the makers. The movie is bankrolled by Shree Shailendra Productions. Murali Sharma played a vital role in the film Prabhakar’s first film ‘Next Nuvve’ got tanked at the box office. His second venture ‘Brand Babu’ is receiving average response from the critics and audience.
