People in Kerala have been devastated by the unprecedented floods and are facing acute shortage of water, food supplies.

There are now lakhs of flood-victims in relief camps, and citizens have joined to help in whichever way possible.

The aid centres that have spontaneously sprung up in many places, esp. in Thiruvananthapuram are teeming with enthusiastic youngsters, pitching in their bit to help out people suffering in this massive tragedy.

All the neighbouring states, public organisations and also private institutes have joined to provide financial help in the form of donations to Kerala.
