Comedian's wife commits suicide

In a tragic incident, Tamil comedian Siddharth Gopinath’s wife committed suicide at their Maduravoyal residence of the actor late on Tuesday night.

According to reports, Smirija committed suicide by hanging self from a ceiling in her room. It is being said that Siddharth and his wife, who were married three years back, came to their residence in the night. They had a heated argument over some issue. Soon after the heated arguments, Smirija reportedly went to her bedroom and hanged herself.

The comedian, worked in Yagavarayinum Naa Kaakka, slpet in a sofa in another room. He informed the police and they are now investigating.
