Chandrababu, Lokesh, Sivaji part of conspiracy to kill Jagan: Vijayasai Reddy

YSRCP Rajya Sabha MP V Vijayasai Reddy on Tuesday accused AP CM Chandrababu Naidu, his son Nara Lokesh, DGP Thakur, Vizag airport restaurant owner Harshavardhan and film actor Sivaji had conspired to assassinate Leader of the Opposition YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Addressing the media along with senior leaders Mekapati Rajamohana Reddy, YV Subba Reddy, Botsa Satyanarayana, Ummareddy Venkateswarlu and Varaprasad, he said that several doubts arise due to the way Chandrababu Naidu and the AP DGP were behaving and commenting on the issue.

He said that the attack on Jagan took place around 12.38 PM. By 2 pm, the DGP held a press conference to claim that the assailant was an SC person, who is also a Jagan fan. He said that disclosing the caste of the accused was incontrovention of law and wondered how can TRS, Jana Sena and the BJP, which expressed concern over the attack, be blamed as co-conspirators in the assassination attempt.

He reminded that when Chandrababu Naidu was the target of the Naxal attack at Alipiri, late YSR had not just condemned the attack , but also staged a dharna. This is the difference between Chandrababu and YSR. He said the YSRCP wanted a third part probe as the police in AP are acting in a partisan manner.
