TDP and Jana Sena faced a major shock in Anantapur. Senior TDP leader and former Hindupur MLA Abdul Gani resigned from the party. The Jana Sena leaders expected that he would join their party. But to everyone’s shock, Abdul joined the YSRCP.
The Hindupur leader met YSRCP chief and leader of the Opposition in AP, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy during his Praja Sankalpa Yatra in Srikakulam district and joined the party in the presence of him.
Speaking to the media after joining the party, Abdul said that Chandrababu deceived minorities in his four and half years rule. ” I have served for the party for 3 decades. But I was not given due importance in the party,” he said.
Abdul’s exit from the TDP come as a big shocker to Bala Krishna who has been facing wrath from the public in his constituency.
