VC of Andhra University claims that Kauravas were test tube babies

The 106th Indian Science Congress at Jalandhar saw some impossible claims by educationists, making it a matter of ridicule and reflecting the decreasing value for research and  for science.

This time the Vice Chancellor of Andhra University, G. Nageshwara Rao took the cake for improbables  in Science. “We had hundreds of Kauravas from one mother because of stem cell research and test tube baby technology. It happened a few thousand years ago. This was science in this country. Mahabharat says, 100 eggs were fertilised and put into 100 earthen pots. Are they not test tube babies? Stem cell research in this country was present thousands of years ago.”

He also claimed that India possessed the science of guided missiles thousands of years ago as Lord Rama from ‘Ramayana’ used astras and shastras to target the enemy  and that Ravana had 24 types of aircraft and several airports in Lanka.
