Finally, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has put an end to the Praja Vedika controversary.
In a bold decision, YS Jagan said that Praja Vedika will be demolished as it was constructed under blatant violations of all laws.
“Praja Vedika is an illegal building in every sense. This would be the last Collectors’ meeting in Praja Vedika, and the first demolition of illegal building would start with this building by the Government,” YS Jagan said in a very emphatic tone.
The Praja Vedika violated the River Conservation Act , the CRDA Master Plan, National Green Tribunal laws, building bye-laws and was built despite the Lok Ayukta recommendations stating that it was illegal.
