Burra Katha Review & Rating

Aadi Sai Kumar has come up with his new movie Burra Katha at the box-office. The actor pinned a lot of hopes on the success of the film. The movie is marking the directorial debut of writer Diamond Ratna Babu. Check out the review of the film here.


Abhiram (Aadi Sai Kumar) is born with two brains. Both the brains function differently and cause problems for him in many ways. How did Abhiram overcome them? What troubles did he face because of two brains? What happens in the end? Forms the story of the movie.


Aadi is definitely the show stealer for this movie. The actor has delivered an energetic performance in the movie. He has succeeded in showing variations in his character. Mishti Chakraborty looked effortlessly beautiful and also delivered a decent performance. Her Chemistry with Aadi is a delight to watch. Naira Shah also went into the skin of the character and performed well. Rajendra Prasad breathes life into his character. His comedy timing is extraordinary. Posani Krishna Murali will definitely evoke some good laughs in theatres. Prithvi justified his role and makes his presence felt. Abhimanyu Singh’s energetic performance also added more strength for the film. Jabardasth Mahesh, Prabhas Srinu, Fish Venkat and Josh Ravi’s comedy is awesome. Gayatri Gupta delivered a good performance.

Technical Aspects:

Director Diamond Ratna Babu has taken a simple and interesting concept for the film and laced an entertaining story. Even his pace of narration is also good. He has not only executed the story well but also succeeded in keeping the audience engaged throughout the film. Production values by HK Srikanth Deepala and Kishore under Deepala Arts are very rich. It is evident that the producers have invested decent amounts in the film. Music by Sai Karthik is good. Though there are no hum-worthy songs in the film, his background music score is pleasant and peppy at the same time. Cinematography by C Ram Prasad is beautiful. His camera angles are worth appreciating. Editing by M R Varma is clean and neat.


The movie has a simple and interesting storyline which is executed in a decent way. The movie starts off on an interesting note and the first half itself will give us the overall idea about the story. Each and every character will have their own importance and will entertain the audience equally. Both the first half and also the second half is filled with comedy, love and romance which is definitely a plus point for this movie. Both the pre-climax and climax are handled really well. Overall, ‘Burra Katha’ is a worth watching movie.
