No agitations now, Ayyanna Patrudu tells Chandrababu

TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu’s ambitious plan to launch a massive onslaught on the ruling YSRCP found few takers within the party. Several party leaders said that there was no point in launching a campaign against the YSRCP to early.

Former minister and a known critic of Chandrababu, Chintakayala Ayyannapatrudu minced no words when he said that as of now the people are happy with the YSRCP and that taking up agitational programme against the YSRCP so early will be counter-productive.

“We must wait for some more time to attack the YSRCP,” he said. Several senior leaders backed Ayyanna Patrudu and suggested that the TDP should bide its time. “We must get the right opportunity and launch a massive agitation at the right time,” said a senior leader.

This definitely was not music for Chandrababu Naidu’s ears. He appeared to be in a hurry to launch a state-wide agitation against the Jagan government. But, the leaders seem to be in mood to take on Jagan at this juncture.
