The Andhra Pradesh Government led by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has issued order to establish a 200-bed super-speciality hospital in Palasa at Srikakulam.
The AP CM has held a review meeting with the officials from Drinking Water Supply Corporation (APDWSC) on Friday.
On Tuesday, the Health,Medical and Family Welfare department issued order to establish the hospital which will also have a Kidney Research Centre and Dialysis Unit attached to it.
During his padayatra before elections, YS Jagan promised to Uddanam Kidney Patients to protect the locals from kidney-related ailments and also establish a 200-bed hospital in Palasa.
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy also directed officials to establish the hospital which will be built at a cost of Rs 50 crore.
