Congress in quandary over ex-heroine’s letter

Rangeela girl Urmila Matondkar is angry and upset. She is upset at the huge margin by which he was defeated in the recent Lok Sabha election. She was defeated by the BJP candidate by over 4 lakh votes. She is angry at the Congress leaders and workers back-stabbing her during the elections.

Urmila feels that the Congress leaders had worked at cross purposes and ensured that her campaign became a non-starter. She felt that the groupism in the party has led to her defeat and has written a letter to the party chief about it. The letter, which has since been leaked to the public, talks about how the Congress leaders had ditched her at the most important time.

Her letter has caused quite a few ripples in the Congress party. Senior leader Milind Deora, who was instrumental in bringing her into the party, said he did not backstab her and added that he and his supporters have gone whole hog for her. But, why is Deora giving these explanations if he is truly involved in her campaign. Also, we do not know if Urmila mentioned about Deora in her letter. Deora sir, your explanation is giving rise to more doubts!!
