Lambasting TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu for opposing three capital cities, YSRC party BC cell chairman and MLC Janga Krishnamurthy said BC cell members from every district are participating in the programs being conducted in support of three capital cities.
Talking to media here on Friday, he said underprivileged sections in the state are behind the decision taken by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. The BC cell will conduct round-table meetings in all Parliamentary constituencies.
He said Naidu is afraid of the three capital cities concept and confusing people. ‘Does it require 53,000 acres for the construction of the capital city?’ he questioned and said that Amaravati will continue as the legislative capital city. The Chief Minister’s intention behind taking this historic decision is for the development of the whole state.
He also said the state is in debt because of Naidu’s policies. Naidu just created an illusion by showing graphics on 53,000 acres. ‘How many decades does it take to complete Amaravati according to you?’ he questioned Naidu.
He further said there are chances for regional inequalities and protests if development is restricted to one place. The Chief Minister is going ahead to deliver justice to all communities. But Naidu is not comfortable with the ongoing welfare schemes. ‘Naidu has used BCs like a votebank but Jagan Mohan Reddy is treating them like the backbone and that is why he implemented 50 per cent reservations for BCs,’ he added.
