Unable to give ‘Unemployment Allowance’ to youth: Minister Acchennayudu concedes

Ruling Telugu Desam Party in Andhra Pradesh has utterly failed in fulfilingl the election promises even after it came into power way back in 2014.

One of the key ministers in Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s Cabinet, K. Acchennayudu has clearly said that state government is unable to fulfill the one of the core election promises, ‘Unemployment Allowance’ to  youth in the state. He inaugurated the office of Ministry of Labour at Secretariat in Velagapudi.

On this occasion he clearly said that AP government has conducted a study on ‘Unemployment Allowances’, being implemented in several states. Instead of giving Allowance to unemployed youth, TDP government would provide more employment opportunities to unemployed youth by bringing the Youth Policy. He further said that his ministry has prepared a proposal to introduce ‘Youth Sub-Plan’. The file has already been prepared and signed from Secretariat office in Velagapudi, the minister of Labour, K. Acchennayudu further added.
