TDP MP from Anantapur JC Diwakar reddy is known for his sensational comments. Although his sense of humour keeps everyone around him in good humour, sometimes his rants bring trouble to his partymen. During a meeting convened by the railway officials with MPs from Andhra Pradesh, he made some interesting comments.
For quite a sometime, the Centre has been dillydallying in announcing port city Visakhapatnam a special railway zone which is one of the assurances that were made in AP Reorganisation Bill 2014. When Diwakar Reddy closeted with the officials, he questioned as to what railway General Managers and state MPs can do when the ball is in the Centre’s court. He further added that MPs can do nothing over the matter. The chances in getting a railway zone are grim and MPs have no value in parliament, he said.
